This compilation of 32 images honor the 32 movements from dawn to dark and back again on the advent of a new year.

This activity was not created for the means of making well-thought out and articulated masterpieces or with the hope of having a profound theme. Images were not preconceived, rather they emerged from the days experience and were often created in the evenings in one simple and quick sitting (the words were added after each image was completed as a reflection to each creative process). I needed a space that was free to create were the imagery would remain long after its creation. Observing from an external standpoint through a screen made the art intangible in a physical sense, forcing me to view it though a different lens. In hindsight, there is no definitive visual theme except that this process made me increasingly comfortable creating images without preconceived ideas, forcing me to not only take the passenger seat but remain passive in my response and create with a sense of honesty. Paradoxically, this made me more aware of the intention behind each image and more driven to give it meaning.
